Technician Service

Our on-site technical support service provides you with one of our expert technicians to work on-site in your school for either a half day or a full day session.


They will help to maintain the school's network and look to assist the school in planning and future proofing you ICT. 
During their time on site your technician will undertake any tasks you request as well as  carry out the following: 

  • Check the schools back up is backing up your data correctly and report and fix any problems.

  • Ensure the school’s Anti-Virus software is up to date and functioning correctly. 

  • Ensure that Microsoft Windows Security patches are up to date. 

  • Check the school’s broadband performance is optimal. 

  • Carry out the physical checks on computer systems and report problems to the school. 

  • Check the schools ICT fault log and undertake tasks identified within this as prioritised by the school and within the remaining time allocation.

Connect the Classroom

SIPS are pleased to be supporting schools with the Connect the Classroom project. Connect the Classroom is a DfE-funded scheme to provide eligible schools with a seamless and future-proof wireless networking solution (Wi-Fi 6), improving connectivity, coverage and speed. All without any cost implications on your school budget.
