Training Programme
SIPS Governor Training Programme allows schools to purchase a package, which includes a training review and unlimited access to training. The training programme includes everything from induction for new governors, finance, HR, safeguarding, health and safety to a programme dedicated to developing experienced governors and supporting chairs of governors.
The training review recognises that there are ever increasing demands placed on school governors. Its purpose is to:
- Discuss training needs associated with the revised governance handbook and associated competency framework
- Consider how these can be addressed within the core package of training and/or through bespoke solutions
- Bespoke school-based sessions for your Governing Board
Whole Governing Body Training
In addition to the programme of courses, SIPS Education provides bespoke training to individual governing bodies and groups of schools/academies on request.
